Alert and Awake- Color

My gryphon pic, colored. Took me two tries to get this right. The first time, I tried to go for a reddish gryphon, but... Well, I need to work on that. This one's more like my other gryphons. I really, really, really need to work on different plumage colors. The brown scheme is nice, but I want... blue. Yeah, a nice black-blue would be good....

Again, though, this is for a friend. Please do not reproduce.
