Finals are over! I'm done with my first semester of Pharm school. That means I'm going to be kicking it into high gear with as much art as I can churn out.

EDIT: Odd little update. Sooooo, as of last week, I discovered that there's a Prince of Persia MOVIE coming out. I hope it doesn't turn into a Mummy or Scorpion King-alike...

I'm a-plugging and a-chugging along. The professors keep us rather busy. (Rather. Huh. INCREDIBLY busy is more like it.) But I've decided to help break myself of the awful cycle of sleep-study-eat-study-school-study-gaiaanddA-study-sleep that I'm actually going to set aside time to draw again. (You'd be amazed at how little I've put out in comparison to previous years if you ever got to see my lecture notes. They're practically doodle-less! )

Since I haven't actually had enough time to sit, sketch, ink, and color a picture, I'm going to continue to work on those bookmarks. Here's where I need feedback. I've got a couple of nice sets of anime bishounen bookmarks, but I'm going to try for females and some game stuff, as well. I'd like to keep the categories separate (anime female, game female, game male), but I'm having difficulty coming up with characters.

I need lots of variety to choose from! Heroes, villains, etc. If you wouldn't mind them staring out of a book at you, then I want to know!

I'm not going to do anymore anime males for now. I think ten is a good number to start off with, and considering how many cool characters there are out there, I'd like to open up the set a bit. (Sorry, Meru, no Gaara for now.)

Another short journal. But that's ok. I've got some interesting stuff going on right now. For one, I'm playing a bit with animation (no, nothing to show yet), and will be starting school again shortly. I'm hoping to have time to keep drawing, but since it's a professional school (and not at all related to art), we'll have to see how it goes. Mind, the pencil will always have a home in my hand. I REFUSE to stop drawing. But time for drawing may get shorter. We'll see what I all I can shove into a day.

I've got a few more character sheets made up. I don't think I'll post ALL of my characters, though. A few. At least a few that have already been shown. Also going to draw more of my OCs. I'm still pretty paranoid about my story, especially considering there's still many kinks to get worked out.

I'm learning to sew again, too. Ok, I've not gotten very far, but I know how to sew a button hole now. lol. Tricksy things. One of these days, I shall be able to sew some of the ridiculous outfits that I want to make. Like the cloak that's more billowy than Snape's. MWAHAHAHA! (Wait... Is that possible?)

Speaking of which! HP6 wasn't that bad, imho. Yes, they left a lot out. I'm not about to contest that. But if I can watch a movie once and come out feeling like they did a pretty good job, then I don't mind watching it again. The first and second HP films... lack feeling, for lack of a better expression. I honestly thought those two were pretty flat. The third movie was COMPLETELY different from the book, but I kinda liked it. (I liken it to the FMA manga and anime: you either love 'em both, or you hate one or the other.) Fourth.. Best parts about the fourth movie were Snape, the wyvern scene, and the Weasley twins got more screen time. Two hours, and that was it. Fifth movie wasn't bad, and sixth was the same. Everyone has different thoughts on it, though.

Oooh! And I got Coraline. Haven't seen it in 3D yet, but hopefully it'll be a bit more suited to 3D than Up was. (A.k.a. I want more to pop off the screen. If it doesn't, that's what 2D is for.)

Summer school has begun! Been trying to get drawings done in between cram sessions. So far, so good. My mom has also introduced me to Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. It's on audiobook, so I can drive, draw, etc., while listening. Wonderful invention for the multitasker, audiobooks. She's also been giving me all sorts of spoilers that I can look forward to. lol. She's so much easier to get to talking about the events in the book than my dad is. (He's also read/heard the series.)

Oh, and we went and saw Pixar's new movie, Up. Good movie. Would put it on the level of Nemo. Not really any higher because the 3D effect was... lackluster, in my opinion. There wasn't really any point to it except to tack on extra money to the ticket price. Still, very good movie.

I GOT ACCEPTED TO PHARMACY SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! Yaaaaaaay! Now, how does this apply? Well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be packed full of stuff that I'll have to be actually studying for. This may mean that my drawings will slow down. I refuse to stop, though, so don't worry. Maybe I'll be able to decorate my lecture notes in there, too. lol.
