I'm about ready to shred one of the sketches I've been working on. lol. I think I think too much about things. I need more spontaneity in my stuff. I experimented with that this past Sunday, actually, now that I think about it. I drew an outline of Euclid jumping. It looks pretty good, I must say, but one of his arms is preventing me from finishing the pic. Ah, well. Need to concentrate on commishes, anyway. I gave myself a deadline and I jolly well plan to keep it. Arrrrrgh, I've got a pic of Goku with a T-Rex that's driving me up the wall... Last time i drew a dinosaur was in.... first grade? lol. Been a while, to say the least.

Speaking of critters, we have a new cat! A while ago, a lovely calico had adopted us and our neighbors and kept our gardens clear of little voles and mice and such. (Last year, we were actually able to EAT the strawberries we'd planted. lol. We were so happy!) She was a very sweet cat, too. But one day, week before last, our neighbor found dear Leona out on the road. She'd been hit by a car... My little brother took it very hard, as he was the one who had named her and would look for her every time he went out into our backyard.

This past Saturday, we went to the animal shelter in search of a good cat. We let my little brother pick the cat. He settled on a pretty squirrel-furred Manx. She's so cute! We've named her Mynx (or, as my little brother prefers, Minx). It's kind of funny to see a cat her size without more than a nub for a tail, though. lol.

Let's see... In other news, I start summer semester tomorrow. Yay... lol. *sigh* Well, best to get it over with. I don't think it'll be too bad.
